Building a Positive Future
The Access service operates a Flexible Learning Programme. In collaboration with a dedicated key worker we will devise an education programme that suits the participants’ needs. On arrival into the centre participants will first be offered an Educational Assessment which will give us a sense of education to date. From there we will devise a timetable of attendance incorporating some of the core educational classes and brief intervention programmes. QQI Certification is available at Level 3 & Level 4. This service runs Monday to Friday throughout the year.
Mindfulness & Relaxation
Specific activities delivered to meet the requirements of a Community Service Order. Reparative Projects are completed in-house to the benefit of recipient organisations. Where appropriate, participants can also undertake educational activities and/or offending behaviour programmes. This service is provided on Monday evenings (for people in employment), and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the day.
The project provides structured activities three days per week for those attending under the Community Return initiative. This involves 1:1 support and referral to agencies upon release from custody, participation in reparative projects and educational activities as appropriate. Community Return participants usually attend Monday to Wednesday.
